It’s Vino Italiano on board the Riverboat this March & April 2017, with a refreshing Pinot Grigio from up north in Veneto, and a down-to-earth Chianti Classico from the heart of Tuscany that pairs well with a wide range of food.
Torresella Pinot Grigio 2015 | $48++ (UP $55++)
The Pinot Grigio grape varietal is undoubtedly among Italy’s favourite whites, and Santa Margherita Wine Group, which owns the Torresella brand, has been the market leader in the last 50 years. A dry white wine with a straw yellow hue, this example stands out for its finesse and its persistence on the nose and palate. Truly a refreshing choice in Singapore’s hot weather!
Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2012 | $56++ (UP $64++)
Another Italian classic, from the heart of Tuscany. On the nose, it gradually unfurls flowers, fruit, spice in an intriguingly absorbing array of earthly wide-ranging aromatics. Firm tannins with freshness, savouriness, and minerality makes this wine an excellent choice to have with dinner.
Available daily at Santa Fe Tex-Mex Grill throughout the months of March & April 2017
